Lily, on the other hand, was a bundle of bounce and a little fidget bum. She didn’t stop running around for a good 45 minutes which made trying to photograph her a little more tricky than Dylan, but in the end we got there when she paused for a brief rest and to catch her breath with her tongue lolloping out the side of her mouth.
It was great fun to meet and photograph these two dogs, both filled with energy and excitement.

Last Sunday I headed over to Farley Mount near Winchester in Hampshire, to photograph two dogs – Dylan a Flat Coat Retriever, and Lily a Cocker Spaniel. Dylan and Lily brought along their owners Amanda and Paul and the five of us headed into the woods for a game of ball and some running around.
Dylan loves his ball and was oblivious to everything going on around him so long as someone was throwing it for him. He didn’t mind having his photo taken at all, and although he was full of energy and running around, he was quite happy to stand still for a few photographs.
